I just wanted to kind of give an update on a few fun things that have been going on in our lives. I finally have a new calling in my ward. I have been doing the Activities for Achievement days for the 8-11 year olds and that has been fun, but it has been almost three years since I started this calling. I love all the little girls, but I asked the bishop if I could have a change. So I got a fun change of being the 2nd counseler in the Young Women's presidency. I am in charge of the Beehives and we don't have advisors, so it will be a challenging calling. I just hope that I can do an okay job. I think that heavenly father is testing me or something.
We find out tomorrow what we are having, so check out my blog tomorrow afternoon sometime. I will let everyone know. One thing I am bummed about is that my Mom ended up staying in Florida another week, because my sister decided to experiment on my Mothers ankle that has screws in it and she can't walk very well on it. She had something injected in her ankle and it was very painful and she hasn't been able to put her full weight on her foot since. She is supposed to fly to Salt Lake tonight, but she won't come home until tomorrow after my ultrasound. My mother-in-law is in school tomorrow and my husband will be in classes, so I have to go to my ultrasound by myself and I am a little upset about it. I am however happy about seeing the baby and checking to make sure everything is growing the way it is supposed to. Keep us in your prayers.
I am finally over being sick. I haven't lost my cookies since Christmas, but everyonce in a while I smell something awful and I almost lose it. Other than that I feel pretty good.
Kirk did awesome last semester in school. He got straight A's and he received a 100% on his Organic Chemistry final. I am really proud of him. Kirk is still unsure of a career, I hope he decides soon.
Calista is just getting bigger and smarter. I accidently taught her the words "shut up", oops. I feel like a horrible Mom. I was talking to Kirk and I told him to shut up and she was right there. So of course she repeated. She hasn't said it since then, that I know of anyway. She is starting to love to color and she knows most colors and sometimes she forgets. She also has been singing "Once there was a snow man" all the time. She loves it. She also sings the sunbeam song. It is really funny because she skips most of the words, but does the actions. I love it, she makes me laugh a lot.
Well that is what has been going on in our lives. We are pretty boring. We just work and go to church. That is my life. Busy busy busy.

It's good to hear what's going on in your life. I just got called as the YW president in my ward and I've almost had a nervous breakdown in the weeks since. Ha! The Beehives are the best because they're still so excited about activities and the whole concept of YW. Good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow. I would be upset too if no one was going to my ultrasound with me. You should tell your husband that classes can be missed for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see his unborn child in the womb. :D Wow, I've talked to much.
Hey lady..if you need someone to go with you..just let me know. I would love to go with you!!!!
Congrats on your new calling! I loved serving in the YW! You will be good at that!
I am sorry you have to go by yourself...if I was there I would go with you!:) Can't wait to hear!
Looks like you guys have been busy. i can't believe you get to find out what your having tomorrow. It just seems like you told us that you were pregnant. Good luck tomorrow babe!
