Young Family reunion and Larry's wedding

Where shall I begin, I have a lot of catching up. Plus there are so many pictures to choose from.
Well the end of July we had girls camp. I only went up for an evening because I had the baby and that is all that they would allow. I didn't put any pictures of the girls on here, but they had a great time.
The following week we had a big family reunion with my Mom's side of the family. We had a lot of fun. We went to Pine Basin and had a three day reunion. It was a wild time, but I love seeing my family. I saw cousins that I hadn't seen in 10 or more years. It was fun to get to know them again.
We did a lot of fun things at the reunion. The first day we hung out and talked a lot and ate some yummy food. We also went on a hike up the mountain behind Pine Basin. Kirk and I didn't go too far up the hill, because it was really steep. My brother Larry, Dennis, my niece Cheyenne her boyfriend and a couple of my cousins went up further. An hour or so after Kirk and I got down off the mountain my cousins came back down. Then it was about 10 pm and my brothers weren't down yet and it was dark. They didn't have any flashlights, then 10:30 came around and still no sign of them. So my brother Paul decided to do a rescue mission and took flashlights and went up the mountain and found Larry and Dennis, but Cheyenne and her boyfriend were still up there stuck in a ravine and they couldn't really see anything. Paul got them all down safely by 11 that night. I was so mad at Larry and Dennis, because they decided to ditch Cheyenne and her boyfriend Cody. Then Cheyenne and Cody got lost. She wasn't even wearing good shoes for hiking. I was so glad they got down safe.
The next day we had a bunch of them go to wind caves for that hike and then the rest of us stayed and visited and entertained kids with a few activities. That night we did dutch oven cooking. Then we had a raffle and it was a lot of fun. Then we had skit night, which is always my favorite. Our families come up with the funniest skits. Then we talked about grandma and grandpa, which was a treat because most of us grandkids didn't know grandpa. He died before I was born.
Here are some pictures of the reunion.

Summertime

Boy this is a long post with lots of pictures of course. I have been pretty busy with two now. I feel like it takes me forever to get going in the mornings and to go to the grocery store is really fun. Especially all by myself. Kirk has been working two jobs, so he isn't here very much to help out. We need any money we can get. This past year with Kirks surgery and the school insurance didn't pay anything, so we got stuck with a very large bill and the car broke down and I had a baby, but I have insurance on me and the baby, so that didn't cost as much. But wow we have had to put everything on payments and I hate that. I don't like owing money. Well enough with the wo's of my life. We should get to the fun stuff.
We have had a really fun summer so far. We had a great fourth of July. We have been busy going to different parks and Calista has loved that. She loves playing on the playgrounds. We have gone to Rigby Lake, to Ross Park Aquatic Center, to the zoo and visiting friends and family. It has been great. Connor has adjusted quite nicely to everything I drag him to. He is a great baby. Very even tempered. He doesn't cry much. Only when I get into the shower. Heehee!!

Calista was getting ready for church in this picture and she was twirling and saying how beautiful she looked in her dress. It was hilarious.
Kirk found him this way and of course had to take a picture.

This was at Ross Park after we swam. Calista and her friend Rebecca. We met Genessa and April there also but I didn't get a picture of them. The girls had a great time. We even threw them down the slide a couple of times.

This was at Hogle Zoo

This was at the awesome bird show at Hogle Zoo. I got this great shot of the Eagle.

This was Connors blessing day and of course slept through most of it. He was a good baby and Kirk did a wonderful blessing. I was so proud of him.

This isn't the best picture of us, but I didn't take very many that day. We were so tired from the fourth the day before.

Here is the gang for the parade. On the back row was Dennis, My Dad (Lloyd), Mary, Susan, My Mom (Sylvia)and on the front row is Ivy, Josh, Luke, Calista, Erin and Camren. Kirk and I are in the middle. I do not look very good in this picture. Yuck!

This picture is just precious to me. Calista loves her brother so much.

This was the Title of Liberty walk. It has kind of become a tradition to do, plus my Mom is one of the people in charge and she makes me do it. Even with a brand new baby. LOL!!!

Here is Kirk and the kids. I am sorry you can't see Connor.

This was just a cute picture of Kirk and Connor. We went to a wedding and so they were dressed nice.

When Connor is hungry he opens his mouth when I kiss him. I love it! He is so sweet.

All ready for church.

Resting with daddy, all ready for bed.

This is Calista singing to Connor. It gets pretty funny at the end. Enjoy!!

New baby story and pictures

Here he is after the very long journey. I can't believe that we made it. I want to share my story cause I thought that it is kind of funny. It was memorial day and my mom came over and we went to the zoo with Calista, but if any of you have seen my mother lately she doesn't walk very well. When we got to the zoo we thought it would be a good idea if she got a wheel chair, but I was the only one that could push her around. Well imagine that, me at 37½ weeks pregnant and pushing my mom through the zoo. Well we joked that she would put me into labor and I said that would be okay because I was ready and my body was ready. We played and had a great morning at the zoo and we also went to the fun park that is padded and we got lunch and hung out. Then Calista and I went home, she had a nap and I did some laundry and hung out at the house. Kirk had to work all day from 10 in the morning until almost 10 at night.
My water decided to break at about 8:45 pm while I was giving Calista her bath. At first I thought I just peed my self a little. But then it just kept happening a little at a time. I got Calista to bed and then I finally put a pad on and waited for Kirk to get home. I told him that I think my water broke, but I wasn't sure because I have never experienced that before. Kirk you know brushed it off and was you know Kirk, very cool and calm. I wanted someone to freak out with me or at least tell me to calm down. I called my Mom and asked her and she said that it was very possible and it sounded like I had, but I wasn't sure if I was in labor, because I wasn't having any contractions.
I decided it would be a good idea to start packing a bag just in case and I am glad I did. As soon as Kirk and I went to bed at 10:30 my contractions started and they got fast and hard really quickly. At midnight I decided I had had enough I woke Kirk up and I tried to get a hold of my doctor and I got really upset because I couldn't get her on the phone. So I called my mom and she said that she would meet us at the hospital and then we called Kirk's mom and she came over to the house to stay the night with Calista. Have I ever mentioned what wonderful mothers both Kirk and I have. They always come to our rescue and I love them both very much.
We got to the hospital and I got all checked in the room changed and they checked me and I was to a 6, so they quickly got me an epidural, but the epidural for some reason stopped me at an 8 and I wasn't progressing at all, for 4 hours the turned me from side to side and tried to get me to dialate those last two centimeters and finally at quarter to six I was close enough and the nurse got me all ready and had me push to see if the baby was close and sure enough he was. The doctor came in a couple of minutes later and I pushed six time through two contractions and he was out. I think I pushed a total of 3 to 4 minutes and the doctor had to tell me not to push so hard. I thought that was funny. Anyways I hope that wasn't to graphic for anyone.
He came out and was perfect. He cried a little bit while they cleaned him up and I nursed him right away and he took right to it.
He is a perfect little angel and Calista has took right to him, she is still a little hesitant, but she sings to him and gives him lots of kisses.

This is just after he was born and he looks a little upset.

Love at first sight.

Proud Daddy. It is amazing to watch Kirk love on his son. I thought he had a special bond with Calista, but this one with his son is different. I see the sparkle in his eyes when he picks him up.

This was after our first night and he did really well.

Finally got to come home.

It is a good thing that heavenly father loves me and lets me take care of one of his little spirits. I am so thankful for my family and I am greatful that he got here safely. He doesn't even cry much. I love being a mother.

Easter and New baby!

My pictures are totally out of order, but we had a good week. First of all my sister in law had her baby last Tuesday and her name is Lily and she is just beautiful. I am so happy for them.
We went to the hospital twice and Calista held her and didn't want me to take her away. She was pretty upset about it, I think she thought that she was going to get to take her home and play with her and then throw her in her toy box when she was done.
We had a really fun Easter weekend. We got invited to an easter egg hunt at my friend Felicty's house in my ward and we had about 15 kids there and they each got ten eggs, so it was nice and fair for all. I liked that a lot, because it wasn't a competition and the kids had a great time.

If you haven't guess yet, this is Calista in her Easter dress. I love the dress and she looked like a little princess in it.
Here is Calista's loot from the Easter bunny. I can't help but spoil her.

The night before we made and colored our eggs. Calista only wanted to color them yellow.

I was trying to get the kids, because they were all so excited to go get those eggs.

She was dancing in the kitchen and well I tried to get a good shot, she still looks cute.

Here is grandma Susan with the new baby Lily.

Oh my goodness she is gorgeous.

This is the picture that Calista did not want to let her go after.

Big Yawn

Proud parents and they should be, because she is so pretty. Lindy is the mommy and Ryan is the daddy. If you couldn't tell already that Ryan and Kirk are definitely brothers.

7 and a Half Months Pregnant

I keep forgetting to post my sexy self on here and well as you can see I don't look as good as some of my friends when they are pregnant. I feel pretty good most days, but my hips are always giving me trouble, so I go to the chiropractor a lot and he puts me back into place. He is the only reason I can still walk. I know that is sad, but true. I can't wait to have this baby, I really need my body back.

Nasal Surgery and Dad

Lots has happened these past two weeks. I took my Mom to Utah to have lunch with her siblings. We had a good time. I love visiting my aunts and uncles they all are just wonderful people. This picture was taken in the restaurant that we went to.

Here is my new sink that Kirk put in for me. Isn't is beautiful. I love it!!! The one that we had was like 30 years old and it was white ceramic, but not so white anymore. I should have taken a picture of it, but it was so ugly.

I just thought this picture was cute, except Calista's lip. She had a run in at the playground.

My dad and his wife Mary got all moved in to there new home here in Idaho Falls. This is there kitchen with Mary and Keri's back. Keri is Mary's daughter. I am very excited that they are here and I hope that we can spend lots of time with them. My dad had the opportunity to retire, because my brother Paul was able to purchase this home for him and his wife. So they decided that this was a move that they wanted and I can't wait for them to be able to really get to know all of us. They have been away in Washington for 22 years. It will be good.

Here is my dad snuggling with Rick (he is my step sisters husband). Don't they look cozy!

This is just funny. I don't know how long she wore both glasses and then she had her milk and something in both hands. She is crazy.

Kirk had nasal surgery last week and I didn't get any pre-photos, but here is one after. He had a nasal polyp removed and his septum reconstructed and a couple of other things done. I am still waiting for him to be able to breath. He still has splints holding his septum together. He gets those removed on Thursday. He is very happy about that. I just want him to breath correctly, he has been an open mouth breather forever and now he is going to be able to breath through his nose. He has no idea how nice it is.

His mom was sweet and made us dinner the night after he had his surgery. He maybe smiling in this picture but he didn't feel that great.

So yes it has been wild with my Dad moving here and Kirk's surgery. I have been going and going. I can't wait to rest a little bit.

Update on My Job

Okay so I read the Family leave act and they don't have to hold the job that I am currently working. But they cannot not demote me they have to give me a job that is the same or similar to what I am doing now. So I could be a loan secretary or they could give me a raise and a better job, but I doubt the better job would happen. I have unfortunetly worked to many years here to give up my benifits and walk, so I will graciously work until I have the baby and keep my benifits. I don't know if I will come back or not. I at least won't have to start over as a teller, I liked being a teller and all but I have moved to a better position. I could move to a different bank after my maternity leave, but I am hoping with all my heart that something will happen for Kirk and I won't have to. I keep praying and hoping that something will open up for him and he will get a dream job and benifits and enough money that I can actually be with my family. It would be such a blessing to stay home with my kids and have time for them, because when I get home at night I am so tired and Calista just wants to play and have me read to her and I feel so guilty being tired. Anyways please keep us in your prayers and thoughts. Thanks for all the advice.
